Product Options

Typical tungsten lamp life is 6-12 months, depending upon usage. It is recommended to allways have a spare on hand for uninterrupted operation. The tungsten light source can be used for wavelength above 350 nm.

Deuterium lamps are long life and rated for a minimum of 2,000 hrs usage. The easiest way to extend lamp life is to only use when the deuterium source when necessary for UV wavelengths below 350 nm.

Tungsten Halogen Source

All 400 Series instruments incorporate high intensity, tungsten halogen sources. These are G-4 base, 6V/10W sources with a color temperature of 3,150 Kelvin. The electro-optic control circuitry used in all 400 Series spectrophotometers ensures optimal source intensity and several hundred hours of carefree operation. When ordering replacement tungsten lamps please use the following information.

Deuterium Source Lamp

All 400 Series Spectrophotometers incorporate the highest quality deuterium sources. These are high output lamps rated for 4,000 hours of operation. THe deuterium source used in the 400 Series Spectrophotometers are pre-aligned and fitted with a three position connector for easy replacement in your spectrophotometer. When ordering replacement lamps please use the following information.
